Who we are:

Jeff and Julie were called mid-life into the mission field by a very clear directive from God. Jeff came from twenty years in the defense industry, and Julie had spent an equal amount of time in IT. They have one teenaged daughter, Ashley, who loves to read and create things. They are excited to have had such a clear call to Kenya and to be able to serve the Lord in whatever way He leads!

What we do:

Jeff works with two people groups in the northern and eastern areas of Kenya. His team trains national pastors in evangelism and discipleship, and he has the privilege of working alongside some very talented Kenyans! Julie "sharpens horns"! Actually, she facilitates the financial end of things for SIM's projects and missionaries in five East African countries. A young Sudanese man told her that she had "sharpened his horns" after he attended a training session she taught to project managers. His shepherding tribe sharpens the horns of their bulls to make them more effective at protecting their herd. He told her that her training made him more effective at managing his project! Ashley is a student at West Nairobi School and is currently in the eighth grade.
