In the impoverished districts where Community Development Project works, literacy rates among women are extremely low, less than 30%. The team at Community Development Project is looking for a literacy advisor to help them monitor the existing literacy program, find ways to improve the program’s effectiveness in training adults in literacy, and ultimately help Bengalis out of poverty and into an improved quality of life.
