Pray for construction to continue on new El Alfarero Centre
24 February 2011
The only thing we could do, with tears in our eyes, was praise God. Amazing. We then proceeded to inform the construction company Director, who is not a Christian, and he was gob-smacked, and then everyone else. The whole team here is rejoicing. We now have enough for two months work---so we can pay up the month we are currently behind, and the following month (March) as well, and keep going till April. Many thanks for your prayers, and your messages, and for walking with us in this rollercoaster ride of faith. Today has been a GREAT DAY. Thursday, 24 February: Please pray with us for our large project which reaches thousands of university students. Our SIM team in Bolivia recieved a phone call this morning, 24 February, from the construction company. The company will stop work after this Saturday, 26 February, unless we hear in the next 24 hours of additional funding. We did receive news today of a generous donation. While this is very encouraging, it is not enough to prevent the work stopping. We remain about £35,000 short (USD 50,000) for the next payment. Unless God provides a major miracle, we will be halting. Please pray especially for the construction company and all the workers that will lose their jobs if we stop the work.
