Cessna 206 is Ready for Flight in Sudan
by Roxanne Cox, SIM Sudan
14 October 2009

Two years ago, we introduced a SIM Sudan project to purchase a small plane that we could use to ferry missionaries and supplies to our bases in South Sudan. God provided the funds to buy a used Cessna 206 in the United States and ship it to Africa. The plane was taken apart, put into a container, and sent by boat to Kenya. Ten months ago, SIM Sudan pilot, Nate Killoren, and a team from AIM AIR (a mission flying agency) began the enormous task of retrofitting the plane.

The plane is now ready for our ministry use South Sudan!

Watch this fascinating 3-minute video Nate has produced of the plane being put together.

Pray

  • Praise God with us for the gift of this plane which will provide critical logistical assistance to our Sudan bases.
  • For God's hand of blessing and safety over the plane, Nate, and all of the pilots who will fly it.
